Dialog der Schrift is a symposium about typography and design. It is accompanied by an exhibition presenting students’ works from the past two years. In 2016 the »Dialog der Schrift« was revolving around the theme of the book inviting speakers from various disciplines to enter a discussion on the »Open Book«. The posters show 5 different motifs referring to the book as an object. The information on the backside carries a gradient from a pure black to an anthracite. The paper is glossy on the front and rough on the backside. The same paper is used for the brochures giving information on the program and content of the talk. Four motifs are symmetrically arranged on the foldout and refer to one poster. The typography is set on the backside. When folded to a leporello, one side shows the english, the other the german version.
