The project shows an attempt on approaching Johannes Kreidler's music piece »Fremdarbeit«. The glossy side of the record cover shows a graphic translation of the music. The various elements of the graphic carry different shades of black to illustrate the multiple layers of tones in the composition. The back side textualizes the presentation of the piece performed by a berlin ensemble. The information given in the presentation is an indispenable part of the piece and therefore also a part of the record cover. The classic font contrasts with the colloquial text. The yellow record is placed in between of this information. A hole is cut into the yellow slipcase to show a fragment of the graphic as well as the percentage description of the music. The folding allows variable front and backsides.
