Although they are mute, throughout this time, flowers have communicated the feelings about life that we cannot put into words. This symbolic language of flowers is called Floriography. And while this symbolism can be studied in art and literature alike, it is often just the overwhelming beauty and connection to nature that makes us feel.
This series of prints is called Way Of Flowers, alluding to the Japanese art of flower arrangement Ikebana or also kadō. Though these arrangements do not follow any of the rules of this art, it is merely a way of trying to preserve the grace and life of the dying flower bouquets in my apartment.
